In the heart of the Eastern Himalayas lies Bhutan, a destination that transcends the ordinary with its awe-inspiring topography, cultural richness, and vibrant tapestry of festivals. Widely known as the "Land of Happiness," Bhutan is a living testament to the harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, where the preservation of the country's cultural heritage takes centre stage.

Thimphu, the capital, is a prominent example of how new technology can coexist with centuries-old traditions. The 16th-century Pangri Zampa, Bhutan's oldest monastery, is a must-see, as is a lunch at a local eatery where you can interact with local monks and enjoy sweeping views of the Thimphu Valley at Buddha Point, where you can see the country's largest Buddha statue. The views from the top of the cliff of the Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) offer a glimpse of Bhutan's holiest place, which is a great asset for Bhutan's cultural tourism.

There is no better way to learn about Bhutanese history, culture, and natural beauty than with this 6-day Bhutan tour. Bhutan's biggest attractions are included in our tour, giving us the chance to see them up close and personal. The Himalayas, Bhutan's fortresses, temples, museums, and sacred monasteries are some of the country's most notable attractions. This 6-day Bhutan Odyssey Tour not only focuses on the country's untouched culture but also its natural wonders. On this journey, several of Bhutan's most popular tourist attractions include Paro, Thimphu, Bimthang, Punakha, and Taktsang. Itinerary for a Visit to Bhutan Initiating in Paro, the journey of 6 days begins.

Bhutan has only one international airport, which is located in the city of Paro. Our representative will accompany us as we travel to Thimpu. Officials and guides greet us at Thimpu after a 2-hour trip from Paro. After that, we'll relax and take in some of Thimpu's sights. We'll head to Trongsa after finishing off at Thimpu. We explore the National Library and fortresses in Trongsa. There are so many things to take away from this trip to Bhutan. The Royal Government has taken a long-term approach to protecting pristine ecology and Culture in Bhutan, which has avoided the negative impacts of industrialisation and mass tourism on the ecosystem and the traditional Bhutanese lifestyle.

Permits from the Royal Embassy of Bhutan are required for trekking and tours in Bhutan. Trekking and touring in Bhutan is best done in the fall and spring. Punakha is the next stop on the Bhutan Odyssesy Tour itinerary. Punakha, Bhutan's former capital, is now a very popular tourist destination. The next best destination of the Bhutan Tour is Phobjikha Valley. The valley is also known as Gangtey, named after Gangtey Monastery. Gangtey Monastery, Punakha, Paro Taktsang, and Punakha Dzong are some of the iconic historical sites in Bhutan.

After that, we'll drive to Paro and then hike up to Taktsang Monastery (also known as "The Nest of the Tiger"). When we arrive at this magnificent monastery nestled in the foothills of the mountain, we can expect it to be awe-inspiring. Finally, we'll fly out of Paro at the end of our six-day Bhutan Tour.

Although the fall and spring seasons are considered the best times to go trekking in Bhutan, Footprint Adventure is able to put together a package for any time of the year, depending on the holiday schedules of the individuals who are going on the trip. Spring (March to May) offers mild temperatures, blooming flowers, and clear skies, though it is a popular tourist season. Autumn (September to November) provides pleasant weather, clear Himalayan views, and vibrant foliage, also attracting a considerable number of visitors. Whereas Winter (December to February) boasts crisp air and snow-capped landscapes, with fewer tourists, but it can be cold, especially in mountainous regions. And Summer (June to August) brings lush green landscapes, but heavy rainfall and potential road closures due to monsoons can be challenges. Given the limited timeframe, Spring and Autumn are generally considered the best seasons for a 6 day Bhutan Tour.
