Best Time for the Everest Helicopter Tour

Spring & Autumn are the ideal seasons for the Everest Heli Tour. These time of the year are perfect due to stable weather, ensuring crystal-clear skies and breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayan range, including Mount Everest.

Early morning flights during these seasons are highly recommended, as the calm atmosphere and golden hues of sunlight on the Everest region create an unparalleled experience. Although the tour can be conducted year-round, it’s advisable to avoid the monsoon season due to frequent weather disturbances, including clouds and rain, which may limit visibility and safety.

    High Altitude Sickness

There is a very minimal risk of altitude sickness on the Everest Heli Tour due to the short duration of time spent during overfly at EBC and Kalapatthar. However, mild symptoms like headache, dizziness, or nausea can occur due to the high altitude. The tour team is trained to handle such issues, prioritizing your safety and comfort. Oxygen supply is also readily available onboard the helicopter as a precautionary measure.
