I had the absolute pleasure of embarking on the Annapurna Heli Tour with Footprint Adventure, and I can confidently say it was one of the most breathtaking experiences of my life! From start to finish, everything was meticulously organized, making it a stress-free and unforgettable adventure.

The moment we took off, the views of lush green valleys, traditional villages, and towering snow-capped peaks were simply surreal. The helicopter ride was smooth and comfortable, and the pilot ensured we had plenty of time to soak in the panoramic beauty. The highlight, of course, was landing near the Annapurna Base Camp, where we were surrounded by the majestic Himalayan giants—it was a sight that words or pictures can't do justice to!

What made this experience even more special was the exceptional service provided by Footprint Adventure. Their team was professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had the best time. Every detail, from safety measures to providing insightful information about the region, was handled with care.

Their service was great, from the first contact throughout the entire trek.

After doing a lot of searching, we decided to go with Footprint. They were always responsive to answer any questions we had about the trek. They welcomed us at the airport, brought us to the hotel, offered a nice welcome dinner, helped us to buy some missing items in Thamel, and managed to get us a flight from Kathmandu directly to Lukla. On the way back, due to weather conditions, our flight was delayed, and they kept assisting to make sure we would be able to fly on the next day and stayed in contact until our return to the capital. Despite the challenges due to the weather, they were very helpful.

We loved our hotel, nice and comfortable room, good restaurant, good spa and welcoming staff.

The city tour was also very informative and enjoyable.

We also had to face some challenges during our trek, but we are very thankful to our guide, Abhi, who was not only friendly but always helpful and flexible to adapt to the circumstances and to our requests. He also surprised us with treats on our wedding anniversary, making this experience even more memorable!

We can honestly recommend Footprint 10/10!

After completing the Everest Base Camp trek last year, I wanted a quieter trail this time. Khopra Danda Trek was perfect! The views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri were stunning, especially at sunrise from Khopra Ridge. The trail was peaceful, with beautiful forests and villages along the way.

Footprint Adventure made everything easy with great planning and a friendly guide Ashish. This trek felt special, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a less-crowded, scenic adventure.

The company was amazing! they took care of every detail and provided excelent tour guides, drivers and service overall! We did a 2 day Kathmandu tour and 3 day safari in Chitwan. We really recommend them!

From the first email over a year in advance of our adventure, Sharan was very responsive, professional and easy to work with to plan our personally customized trek for six people starting in Phaplu and crossing over Renjo La to Gokyo. Using his expertise, he proposed several improvements and options to the original itinerary we requested to ensure we had flexibility for unexpected changes and allow us to acclimatize adequately. He responded to all requested changes and questions we had in a very timely manner.

The original cost estimate provided months in advance was clear, detailed and thorough. There were no additional changes to the budget or hidden fees when we arrived in Kathmandu.

From the time we arrived, Ganesh was there to welcome us at the airport and ensure we were transported to our hotel safely.

The pre-trek orientation was informative and beneficial. We had a few last minute requests during the orientation which Sharan quickly accommodated for us.

We encountered several challenges at the start of the trip due to weather conditions preventing flights between Kathmandu and the Everest region for several days prior to and during our trek. Footprint was quick to suggest alternatives to keep our trek on schedule which required different travel arrangements and booking new accommodations along the trek. Shanti (our female lead guide) and Sharan did excellent job of managing the changes.

Shanti, Dipak and Chhring are very competent and were amazing guides. We could not have expected a better group to lead us. By the end of the first day, they quickly became close and trusted friends. Their attention to details, high level enthusiasm, great sense of humour and continuous regard for our safety was greatly appreciated by all of us.

Our porters were very dedicated and professional and we all quickly developed friendships with Suresh, Suresh, Lali and Budhi.

Accommodations and meals were fantastic.

When we arrived at Gokyo Lake, part of our group was unable to continue over Renjo La  due health issues and we decided to split into two groups. They were able to ensure the group that was unable to go over Renjo La still had a memorable experience and the remainder of the group successfully continued with original itinerary.

Footprint Adventures, specifically Sharan, Shanti and Dipak, were able to quickly adjust our itinerary (transportation, accommodations and resources) to unexpected challenges out of their control (weather, flight cancellations and health issues) and our last minute requests by our group without compromising our trek and maintain the original budget.

Based on our experience, Footprint Adventure can be trusted to provide the expertise, dedication, competent, caring and friendly staff and attention to details to plan and deliver an amazing trek. We would definitely recommend Footprint Adventure to our friends and would not hesitate to use them for future treks.

I recently completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek during the off-season with Footprint Adventure, and it was an amazing experience. Trekking without the usual crowds gave us a peaceful and intimate journey through stunning landscapes. Our guide, Abhishek, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and always ensuring our comfort. The teahouses were comfortable, and the food was great, even with fewer tourists around.
