We had a really great time! They were very warm and friendly and made the cooking class a wonderful experience for us. We cooked three dishes, which we had to agree on at the beginning. Everyone was working together, and the food was very tasty. The kitchen and dining area were very clean, so you felt completely at ease.

This was definitely the best decision we made!

It was on the last day of our two-week trip to experience Nepal, and after trying the rich Nepalese cuisine, my partner and I wanted to learn how to cook it ourselves. Out of three menus, we chose menu 1, which includes four different dishes: Chatamari, Daal Chapati, Momo (you could also choose the filling), and carrot pudding.

The staff was incredibly friendly (in an authentic way), interested in getting to know us a bit, funny, and really attentive in asking us about food/spice preferences and dietary restrictions.

We received an introduction to the Nepali spices in the beginning, and were shown step by step how to make dough, the fillings, the order of cooking, and frying the different types of food. At the end, you have the chance to purchase the spices and some of the ingredients as well. The food tastes great, you could really tell the difference it makes to use good spices and take your time preparing. The four instructors took turns showing us while the others were helping with the preparations for the other dishes.

We are so glad we took the class at the end of the trip and now know the taste of good quality Nepalese food! Some dishes, like the Daal, even tasted better than the ones we ate at restaurants!

Our Upper Mustang Jeep tour was an amazing experience filled with scenic drives, cultural sites, and spiritual moments. The journey from Pokhara through beautiful valleys, waterfalls, and mountain views was breathtaking. Visiting Muktinath Temple was peaceful, spiritual, and truly special, exploring Kagbeni, Dhumba Lake, and enjoying local hospitality along the way. The jeep was comfortable, and the whole trip was very well organized.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for both adventure and a spiritual journey in Nepal.

Already on my arrival in Kathmandu, I was warmly and professionally welcomed by the team. The organization was top- from start to finish, everything went smoothly, and I felt well looked after at all times.

My guide, Rabin, deserves a special mention: Not only did he do an excellent job guiding me safely and competently on the trails, but he also became a really good friend during this time. His experience, calm manner, and positive charisma have made the tour very special. It was not only a hike, but a real experience, thanks in part to the many inspiring conversations with him on the way.

I’m already looking forward to my next tour with Footprint Adventure - because you can hardly recommend this agency! 

Our family has always wanted to go on a real adventure, and Footprint Adventure gave us that opportunity.

We had such a wonderful time while trekking in the Upper Dolpo. The Upper Dolpo remains a pristine and remote, extraordinary landscape, culture, and stunning lake, making this trek more beautiful. Our guide was excellent and kind, and our porters were friendly and diligent.

We are particularly impressed with the food!  We really enjoyed our trek with Footprint Adventure. 

We certainly look forward to returning to Nepal! For another trek……..

Absolutely loved the Langtang Valley Trek!

I chose this trek because I really wanted to experience the Himalayas, but I didn’t have much time so the 6-day itinerary was perfect for me and my partner.
From day one, everything felt smooth and well-organised. The trekking plan was thoughtfully adjusted to fit our timeframe without skipping any key highlights. Upon arriving in Kathmandu, we were warmly greeted at the airport by a company representative and invited to a traditional welcome dinner :)!

GUDIE:
Our guide Sharan, was certified, fluent in English, and always there with support or local insight whenever we needed it. And then there was Mingu, our porter, who didn’t just carry our bags he lifted our spirits every time the trail got tough. Thanks to them, what could have been a challenging trek turned into an unforgettable and meaningful experience.

SAFETY:
As we hiked, we saw other groups, and it was clear that Footprint Adventure stood out. They had a strong focus on safety: our guide carried an oxygen bottle in case of emergency, and each evening he measured our blood oxygen levels to ensure we were fit to continue. In a remote setting like this, that kind of care makes all the difference and it made the whole adventure feel a lot safer.

TREKKING:
The Langtang Valley itself was breathtaking: peaceful, uncrowded, and full of wildlife. We saw two types of monkeys, Himalayan thars, yaks, and so much more. The local people of Langtang were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The absolute highlight of the trek was reaching the summit of Tserko Ri - an experience I truly can’t recommend enough.

Thank you, Footprint Adventure, for making this journey so special. We hope to be back again someday for another adventure!

We had an unforgettable journey to the Tibet Lhasa Cultural tour, truly an once in a lifetime experience. The breathtaking landscape, rich culture, and serene atmosphere left us in awe. What made it even more special was how seamlessly everything was arranged by Footprint Adventure. From the start to finish, they made the entire trip feel effortless, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the magical of the region.

I had a wonderful time in the Tsum Valley with the Footprint Team, thanks to this top-notch Footprint Adventure. From the beginning, the hospitality I received was beyond what I could have expected.  Their guide Ganesh was super friendly, making the journey a breeze. Everything was perfectly organized, from permits to cozy lodges. 

The views were unreal, and the cultural experiences were a highlight. Thanks to Sharan and Madav, who organized everything. I would highly recommend Footprint Adventure.
