Mr. Makaraj Tamang is an essential member of the Footprint Adventure due to his deep experience of Nepal and its people, locations, and culture. As a guide, he has traveled to almost all of Nepal's popular trekking spots, such as Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Manaslu, and many others. With so many years of significant experience, it is clear that he has a wealth of on-field knowledge. He is pleased with the knowledge he has accumulated over the years because he has spent most of his life traveling and living close to mountains.
Maharaj is intelligent and well-versed in his field, and in addition to Nepali, he also speaks English and Hindi fluently. He has led trekkers through most of Nepal's trekking zones, always putting their safety first. During his time as a trekking guide for Footprint Adventure, he led many groups to different areas and was also recognized for his hard work and dedication. He took courses on first aid, high-altitude sickness, and other things related to trekking so that he could do his job better. He has taken tourists from the US, Germany, Spain, Canada, Brazil, Switzerland, and many other countries to Mustang, Dolpa, and Rara Lake, in addition to the well-known Everest and Annapurna.
