Best Experience of EBC with Gokyo Lakes

    Alex Locard, March 14, 2022

I just got back from an amazing trip to the Himalayas with my dad which I will never forget. We chose a trek that went through Gokyo Lakes and ended at Everest Base Camp. From the first email we sent to the tour company almost a year before our trip, we knew we had picked the right one. Sharan, who served the business in Nepal as a trip coordinator, answered all of our questions about times, what to expect on the trip, and other details of the trip. He always replied quickly and made sure our hotels and airport pickups were booked. When my flights changed at the last minute, he made it easy and convenient to change times and book extra days. At every step, everyone at Footprint was friendly, professional, and most of all, helpful.
It was also nice to see hand sanitizer in offices and hotels, along with signs that said they were taking Covid-19 safety measures. It feels good to get back on the road. The real journey? What an amazing thing! Our wonderful guide Ramesh and our porter Chhiring made it possible and made it even better. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Ramesh knew a lot about the trail, the mountains, the tea houses, the plants and animals, and the question "Which mountain is that?" didn't bother him at all. Regardless of how many times I asked! He gave us great advice about what to eat at the different tea houses as we got higher and further away, which was very helpful. He also made sure we had everything we needed by taking our food and drink orders, checking our oxygen levels, asking how we slept, and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. He told us every night what the next day would be like, how long it would be, how steep it would be, what the weather would be like, etc. He is a great guide, but he also has a great sense of humor. This made the 15-day trek a lot of fun, even when we had to spend hours on "Nepalese Flat" between steep climbs. Thank you, Ramesh, for a great time.
Our porter Chhiring was a real star! Every day, he made us look bad by carrying our duffel bags and beating us to the teahouses. We had our bags in rain covers, so they looked the same, but he still knew who was who and made sure we had the key to the room with the right bag every night. He was nice and helpful, and he did all the heavy lifting for us so we could go on this trip. I admire and respect him a lot for what he can do. Overall, this was a great trip, and I'd like to thank everyone at Footprint Adventure for making this "bucket list" item so much fun.

Chopper Explore in Sagarmatha Mountain !! Best Experience Ever ...

    Martin J, March 12, 2022

I had the most incredible time. When it came to assisting us with booking and planning for our Everest helicopter tour and landing at Kala Patthar, Sharan was wonderfully attentive and comprehensive. He went above and above to make sure we understood everything and had all we needed.

The helicopter trip was fantastic and a standout experience throughout our visit to Nepal. Awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas, including Everest, could be seen everywhere. The opportunity to explore Kala Patthar will always be memorable to me.

We appreciate all the arrangements made by Sharan and the Footprint Team. Since we are short on time this time, I will return with my entire family the following time and we will have a more in-depth conversation on religion, regional customs, Nepal's history, etc.
This Footprint Team comes highly recommended to anyone considering a trip to Nepal.

    Cleaning Campaigns with Footprint!

    Minato J, March 11, 2022

Karki, the director of Footprint, arranged for my older brother and me to participate in my plan. My older brother is heading to the Namche Museum, while I'm going to basecamp. He can make competent program adjustments. Deepak, our guide in Lukla, was incredibly friendly and took excellent care of us. He forewarns, checks, offers guidance, and double-checks everything. Even though I'm unable to reach basecamp, it was still a great experience. We organized cleaning campaigns at Namche and Dingboche, which were worthwhile, and we brought the majority of the trash we came across on the route with us.
After finishing the EBC hike and returning to KTM, I received accommodation assistance from Karki, a lovely and reasonably priced guesthouse in Thamel.
There is a fine restaurant (include Japanese menu). If you haven't made accommodation reservations following your walk, this service hotel is a decent choice.

Thank you to the Every Footprint Adventure staff and to Mr. Deepak, our guide on the EBC trail.

Anyone looking to have an enjoyable trip in Nepal should consider "Footprint Adventure," in my opinion.

  • ENSURED BEST SERVICE THROUGHOUT THE TREK

    Lara.D, March 03, 2022

The best guide service available. When we first started inquiring questions about our trek to Everest Base Camp, Footprint Adventure was by far the most responsive organization. Once we decided to go with them, they thoroughly gave us all the information we needed for our journey before we arrived in Nepal. Every email we sent to our organizers, Madhav and Sharan, received a response from them within an hour or two. We had a very clear grasp of our plan, packing list, advice, arrival process, etc. before taking the journey to Kathmandu.
When we got to Nepal, Footprint Adventure treated us like with luxury. We had complete faith in our guide Sharan during our trek because he was skilled, knowledgeable, and entertaining when he received us at the airport. Throughout our trip, Sharan always prioritized our safety and showed out interesting sights. He took great care in giving us outstanding service, and he made the voyage a fantastic experience. Our porter, Chhiring, was a genuinely exceptional young man who was strong, sociable, and usually grinning. He was equally dedicated to making our walk fun.
Our expectations were considerably exceeded by the rooms and meals, making their luxury package well worth the money. The details of the trip were seamlessly and expertly managed by Footprint Adventure. The day before we were scheduled to leave for our trek, my husband was injured in Kathmandu. Footprint Adventure handled the situation in the most amazing way. When our trip was delayed by a day, Footprint Adventure rearranged our entire itinerary to ensure we had the same luxurious accommodations that had been planned for our trip, which was no small feat considering it's the busiest time of year for trekking. Our guide personally drove him to a clinic where he received excellent care.
Ganesh, the company's owner, called my husband every night of our trek to make sure he was doing well and that his injury was mending properly after seeing us in our hotel to make sure we could go on the walk. The level of care and service this business offered genuinely astounded us. Our tour leader, Sharan, had a genuine care for my husband's injury and changed our pace every day in accordance with how he was feeling. With simply a tip of his head, Sharan, who appeared to know everyone on the path and at the hotels, was able to get us the greatest rooms, warm face towels, ginger tea, and a table reservation. We simply can't express our gratitude to the Footprint Adventure crew and their impeccable service loudly enough. For any upcoming journeys we take, we will most definitely get in touch with them. We gratefully acknowledge Footprint Adventure for the once-in-a-lifetime experience and heartily recommend them.

    AMAZING HOSPITALITY

    John.F, March 02, 2022

Time was a major constraint for me, and trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) seemed impossible during my busy schedule. That’s when Sharan from Footprint Adventure suggested the ABC Heli Tour, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

The entire experience was seamless, starting with the hassle-free booking process. Sharan and the team ensured that all my concerns were addressed beforehand, leaving no room for second thoughts.

We landed at ABC, where I had enough time to soak in the beauty of the majestic Himalayas, click pictures, and enjoy the serene environment. Despite the short trip, it never felt rushed—every moment was well-planned and thoughtfully executed.

Thank you, Sharan and the Footprint Adventure team, for turning my tight schedule into an extraordinary adventure. If you're short on time but still want a taste of Nepal's iconic landscapes, I can't recommend the ABC Heli Tour enough!

    Amazing Experience !!!

    Sussan, February 19, 2022

Madhav has been the greatest to work with through Footprint Adventure. He provided all the information we asked for and responded to us quickly. I heartily urge anyone considering this trek to book them. You won't be dissatisfied. Krishna, our trek guide, and our porter both did an excellent job. Sadly, I got sick and couldn't complete the trek, but our guide remained with me the entire time and checked on me every day. He was entertaining, knowledgeable, and took care to show us the splendor of the walk. Although though we were unable to finish it, Krishna allowed me to see some incredible sights along the route. If we were to return in a year, I would without a doubt ask for the same guide and porter. We had a great sense of security and comfort with Footprint Team, and they did a great job getting me back to Lukla in a helicopter. I can honestly say that it was the most breathtaking helicopter ride of my life. Once again, I want to thank you for a fantastic trek and Madhav for always keeping an eye on us. You are incredible!

Perfect Religious Journey in Nepal ! Must go

    Rabindra Vinkatnarayn, February 10, 2022

Footprint Adventure had arranged our helicopter excursion to Muktinath temple to adore God Vishnu. It had been my long-term goal to visit one of the 108 Divyadeshams.
Our heli trips to Muktinath began at Pokhara airport. While flying to Muktinath temple, we saw several mountains, jungles, and villages.
We had some time after landing to tour the temple and its surroundings. We took a bath and paid our respects to Lord Shiva. My wife was overjoyed at the time. Thank you for all of your help. We strongly advise everyone to fly over the mountains at least once in their lives. It's well worth it.
